Consumer Strike Against the Ruling Class
Our money is our marionette strings
Why would EV production result in fewer U.S. jobs? Is it more automation in the newer factories, which tend to be for EVs? If so, then balance will naturally return over time. Or do the Big 3 car makers import foreign-manufactured EVs, and if so, why did they choose not to build EV factories domestically?
Frankly, I'd boycott ANY company -- car maker or otherwise -- who exports jobs. That's exactly why I haven't set foot in a Walmart in the last 30 years (except on two occasions to use the men's room). If more people would #VoteWithYourWallet, then the more clout we'd have to preserve U.S. jobs.
Don't blame the car makers. Blame us buyers who don't #VoteWithYourPocketbook to teach them a valuable lesson. They'll respond, believe me, because money is the very thing they care most about. It's the marionette strings with which we can control them (instead of the other way around), but ONLY if we unite to do so.
It's our best way to influence the ruling class. We consumers should ourselves strike against the exporters of jobs. By uniting in a #ConsumerStrike, WE become the ruling class instead of them. #ProUnion #ProAmerican #ProAmericanJobs
